Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was ideally located in Schwangau, close to the attractions, with comfortable and quiet rooms within walking distance of Schloss Neuschwanstein, though facing a busy road. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff providing useful information. The dining experience offered a variety of choices but lacked the charm of local cuisine. The facility had great amenities, making the stay enjoyable.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were beyond expectations with a very nice view out the window and a modern bathroom, but unfortunately, they were on a very busy road with noisy traffic all night. The service, including housekeeping and tours/ticket assistance, was great overall, although the reception staff were a bit of a letdown. The location was very convenient, especially for visiting the castles, but the bustling tourist area might not be everyone's cup of tea. The dining experience was fantastic with a variety of tasty items, even if not everything was top-notch. Overall, a decent stay with some highlights and drawbacks.
I could see Neuschwanstein Castle from my room across the beautiful fields, which was amazing! The beds were comfy, but the noise from the busy road kept me up at night. The price of EUR 120 per day was fair.
